Art Deco Large Expandable Table, Rosewood, Oak, Lacquer, France circa 1925
A large expandable table from the Art Deco period in France, 1925. This monumental table features a rosewood burl veneer on oak. This veneer is found on the top and side of the legs. The middle is extendable with 3 (newly made) extension leaves lacquered in pearl white (cream white). The table extends up to a length of 3.8 m (12.5 feet) with two support legs in lacquered oak on each side. Fly extended, it offers seating for up easily 16 people (18-20 tight). Extraordinarily beautiful legs with book-matched rosewood veneer. Stainless steel trim surrounding the bottom base of the table. Top notch restoration with excellent high gloss piano finish. Can be dismantled into stand and plate for transport. Overall a wonderful piece of vintage furniture.
