Pair of Biedermeier Dressers
This exquisite pair of Biedermeier dressers date back to the first half of the 19th century, approximately 1830-1850, and originate from Austria. Crafted from solid coniferous wood, they have undergone meticulous restoration, resulting in their excellent condition both aesthetically and functionally. The ebonized wooden surfaces are carefully hand-finished with a shiny black polish, enhancing their look while protecting and nourishing the wood.
Each chest has three lockable drawers with keys, and we’ve recreated all the brass elements using traditional casting methods.
Intricate details on each chest, showcasing Greek vase and acanthus leaf motifs, featuring a careful restoration.
The construction is both robust and stable, and the dressers rest elegantly on four slender legs, giving them an added sense of lightness and grace. These Biedermeier chests are in remarkable condition, fully functional, and ready for everyday use. They make for a stunning addition to any antique collection, infusing an air of elegance into any interior.
