Small Biedermeier Wash Cabinet, Cherry Veneer, Austria, circa 1830
An exceptional small Biedermeier wash cabinet from Austria, Vienna circa 1830. Featuring a cherry veneer, solid wood, ebonized parts, and an ebony trim inlay on the top plate. The wash cabinet has a hinged front lid and front flap. The front panel has likely been re-veneered in an older restoration. The cabinet has round stollen feet, an original brass key coat of arms, and is painted blue on the inside.
