French 18th century Vanity or Poudreuse

This exquisite unique Louis XV vanity, or poudreuse, dates to the 1760s and originates from France. The dressing table features breathtaking marquetry décor, elegant brass fittings, and intricate detailing with floral motifs and musical instruments. A true masterpiece of 18th-century craftsmanship.

The center section includes a flip-up mirror, flanked by two compartments with lift-top doors, originally designed for storing cosmetics and personal items.

Below, the piece offers two drawers and a pullout writing surface.

This Louis XV poudreuse has been fully refinished with a hand-polished shellac finish, enhancing its timeless elegance.

Its compact size and functionality make it perfect for a bedroom, dressing room, or even as a statement piece in a living space.

Parcel Delivery

Items are typically delivered within 2 weeks of the purchase date.

All sales are final once buyer or buyer’s agent takes possession of an item.

Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.

Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final.
