Large Curved French Art Deco Desk in Black Piano Lacquer with Metal Accents, France, circa 1940–1950
This striking French Art Deco desk dates to circa 1940–1950. The design features a dramatic curved form that creates a strong architectural presence.
Crafted from walnut, the desk has a deep high-gloss black piano lacquer finish. The glossy surface highlights the sculptural curvature of the piece.
Several polished stainless-steel decorative bands run across the body. These bands are screwed into the structure and emphasize the horizontal Art Deco lines.
The desk includes a central drawer with the original handle. The handle was newly chrome-plated during restoration.
This large Art Deco desk has been fully restored and is ready to use. It works well as a statement executive desk, writing desk, or designer workspace in residential or professional interiors.

Items are typically delivered within 2 weeks of the purchase date.

On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage caused by the shipper during the shipping process.

All sales are final once buyer or buyer’s agent takes possession of an item.
Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.
Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final.
