Eero Saarinen for Knoll International, iconic round Tulip side table produced in the 1970s. Featuring Saarinen’s celebrated pedestal design, the table combines sculptural simplicity with functional elegance, embodying the timeless modernist aesthetic that made the Tulip collection one of the most influential furniture designs of the 20th century.
The base is crafted from cast aluminum with a white epoxy lacquer finish and retains the Knoll label. The round tabletop is executed in white marble with elegant gray veining and refined beveled edges, offering a sophisticated contrast between organic materiality and streamlined form.
Originally conceived to eliminate the “slum of legs” beneath traditional tables and chairs, Saarinen’s Tulip series remains a defining icon of Mid-Century Modern and Space Age design.
