This beautiful Biedermeier chest of drawers features a mirrored cherry veneer, with root veneer on the topmost drawer. Additionally, it has a diamond shaped marquetry above the ebonized columns and original brass capitals and bases.

The Biedermeier Period lasted from 1815 to 1848 after the end of the Napoleonic Wars.
It was a period of transition in Northern and Central Europe, especially in Germany and Austria.
