Elegant Neoclassical Biedermeier writing table or desk, handcrafted in Austria around 1830. The piece features beautifully figured book-matched cherry veneer on a softwood carcass, showcasing the restrained elegance and exceptional craftsmanship that define the Biedermeier period.
The desk stands on an impressive pedestal base framed by six hexagonal veneered full columns, creating a strong architectural presence inspired by Neoclassical design. Fine ebonized decorative trims provide a striking contrast to the warm cherry veneer, emphasizing the clean lines and balanced proportions of the piece.
A full-width drawer on the front offers practical storage while preserving the desk’s refined silhouette. Parcel Delivery

Items are typically delivered within 2 weeks of the purchase date.

On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage caused by the shipper during the shipping process.
