18th century Farm Table Switzerland 1760
This 18th century farm table which dates back to around 1760 is extendable. The walnut top has a inlaid slate slap in the center. This is a typical detail of a Swiss rustic table of the 17th and 18th century. As a special feature this table is extendable. You can easily fit ca 10 people around it, it has a length of ca 86.61 inches (220 cm) when it is extended. The walnut has a pretty wood grain and a very nice patina.
The farm table’s base features four lathed legs which are connected with a crossed stretcher.
