Lamps in Canton Porcelain and Bronze, Circa 1880.
Elevate your interior with the timeless elegance of this pair of lamps in Canton porcelain, a captivating blend of Chinese craftsmanship and French design from the circa 1880 era. These antique lamps are a true testament to the exquisite artistry and attention to detail of their time. The vases, crafted in Canton porcelain, feature a predominantly green and white background adorned with delicate green butterflies and pink flowers on a lavish gold backdrop. Four cartouches in reserve depict intricately detailed floral motifs and court or palatine scenes, showcasing polychrome figures dressed in traditional garb on a white background. The long conical neck is entirely adorned with palatine scenes, adding an extra layer of sophistication. Resting on a quadripod base with decorative motifs, the top of the frame boasts a gadroon and an openwork grid, along with a gilded bronze key that enhances the overall aesthetic.
