Louis XVI dresser, South West Germany 1780.
This chest of drawers is a gorgeous original piece of the 18th century. Hand carved fine neoclassical decorations embellish the massif walnut dresser. It is a typical piece of the Electoral Palatinate region in Germany and was probably made in the area of Mannheim or Heidelberg. The three drawer commode is in very good original condition. The brass fittings have been replaced at one point.
