Louis XVI Style Chandelier in Gilded Bronze, 1900
Louis XVI style chandelier in gilded bronze with six arms of light, grouped two by two by a ribbon, with their bobeches with rough ends ending in fine regular friezes, which rest on a central glass paste cup orange, embedded in their finely chiseled frame with crosspieces and ending in the lower part with a gadroon and a stylized pine cone.
In the central part, thick glassware in glass paste decorated with flames, transparent in color. Three chains suspend the basket, decorated with an imitation of ship ropes knotted in their center. Top of the chandelier decorated with acanthus leaves, a stylized ball and an upside-down pine cone. New and functional electricity. Works with E14 sockets. Overall a wonderful piece of antique lighting.
