Rare Museum-Quality Antique from Vienna
This Viennese Biedermeier pedestal table, crafted circa 1825, represents the height of Austrian craftsmanship. The large round tilt-top features a stunning book-matched walnut veneer with a starburst grain and rich 200-year-old patina. Resting on a six-sided column and elegant triangular base, it embodies the refined geometry and timeless elegance that define the Biedermeier style.
Authentic pieces of this quality and scale are increasingly rare. The table’s quiet sophistication and warm walnut tone make it equally striking in classical or modern interiors, adding depth and authenticity without visual heaviness.
This table has been meticulously preserved and finished with a traditional French polish.
