Antique Oil Painting on Canvas Signed G. Puricelli, Woman Portrait
We present this fantastic G. Puricelli oil painting portrait of a young woman from the 19th century. The portrait features a signature on the bottom right in red G. Puricelli (see photo). Attributable to the Italian painter Giuseppe Puricelli born in Gallarate (Italy) on September 4, 1825, died in Casirate d’Adda (Italy) on July 17, 1894 as per plate on the frame, without authentication.
This is an oil on canvas portrait of great artistic quality, the sensitivity of a nineteenth-century painter of great talent is clearly visible. The young woman dressed in simple clothes of the time and a fashionable hat completely in black portrayed in three-quarters with her head slightly bent turns her gaze absorbed but we do not know what she is observing. A work that certainly has a clear expressionist influence, full of intense emotion and a sincere and real representation of the subject. The work is accompanied by a beautiful gilded wooden frame, the canvas has been restored and relined.

Parcel Delivery
