Louis XV Transition Style Chest of Drawers
This gorgeous Louis XV Transition Style chest of drawers was made in the mid 19th Century. The chest has an extraordinary flower marquetry. The three drawer commode’s front is structured in different marquetry fields. The upper drawer has a middle field with a flower tendril flanked by two herringbone marquetry fields. The decor of the larger lower drawers has three merging marquetry fields with a central flower bouquet basket and two baluster vases with flowers on the right and left of it. The marquetry work is exquisitely executed. Additionally the chest of drawers is decorated with beautifully chased bronze fittings, sabots and escutcheons. The light colored marble top complements the beauty of this piece. The commode comes professionally refinished with a shellac polish.

On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage caused by the shipper during the shipping process.

All sales are final once buyer or buyer’s agent takes possession of an item.
Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.
