Discover an exceptional 18th-century German Baroque armchair, dating from approximately 1790–1800, finely crafted in richly grained cherry wood.
The sculptural frame features exquisite hand-carved details, including elegantly scrolled armrests and gracefully curved legs, reflecting the high level of craftsmanship typical of late Baroque furniture in Germany.
A particularly charming detail appears on the backrest, where a carved monogram “C E” and the date “1803” suggest the armchair was created as a wedding gift, adding a rare layer of historical and personal significance.
This antique Baroque armchair is in very good condition and has been upholstered by the former owner. It remains a remarkable example of late 18th-century German seating, suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors seeking an authentic statement piece.

On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage caused by the shipper during the shipping process.

All sales are final once buyer or buyer’s agent takes possession of an item.
Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.
Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final.
