French Art Deco Desk in Black Piano Lacquer, Circa 1930

This elegant French Art Deco desk dates to around 1930 and combines clean architectural lines with luxurious materials. Finished in a deep black piano lacquer, it is a striking example of the sophisticated craftsmanship that defines the Art Deco period.

The desk features original metal fittings and knobs that have been professionally nickel-plated, restoring their brilliant finish. Stainless steel trim surrounds the top and continues along the base of both legs, adding a refined modern contrast to the glossy lacquer.

A door on the left opens to a storage compartment beautifully veneered in bird’s-eye maple and finished in lacquer. Two drawers on the right, finished in mahogany on the interior, provide practical storage for office essentials. Its compact size makes the desk ideal for a home office, study, bedroom, or living space.

Professionally restored and refinished, this Art Deco desk is presented in excellent condition and is ready for everyday use.
