This beautiful Danish Biedermeier dresser has four drawers with the top one slightly curved, this contributes additionally to the individual design of this unique piece.
In addition, the four small, oval shaped escutcheons do not draw any attention from the mirrored mahogany veneer.

Danish Biedermeier shows traditionally a preference for simplicity. Mahogany veneer on pine wood was the preferred wood
combination in Danish Empire and Biedermeier. Furthermore, the simple design usually renounces the use of prestigious brass or
bronze fittings. In Denmark, the Biedermeier period corresponds with the “Danish Golden Age” a time of creative production in
Denmark.
