This elegant Walnut Biedermeier Bookcase, dating back to Austria circa 1825, embodies the classic Biedermeier style. Crafted from solid walnut, it features a refined design with slanted edges and subtle ebonized accents on the cornice and skirting board. The bookcase boasts three glass-fronted sections with walnut dividers, preserving your books while displaying them beautifully. An antique lock with an ebonized lozenge key coat of arms adds historical charm, and book-matched walnut veneer on the door’s bottom front adds a decorative touch. Inside, you’ll find four deeper shelves and one recessed shelf, all lined with black fabric to protect your books.

The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage which was caused by the shipper during the shipping process.

All sales are final once buyer or buyer’s agent takes possession of an item.
Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.
Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final.
