This pair of Biedermeier chairs is embellished with a beautiful bird’s eye maple veneer and has ebonized open work details on the backs.
The chairs are covered with a beautiful black fabric.
During the Biedermeier Period (1815 to 1848), the middle class grew prosperous and more secure, and in Germany and Austria, stylistic tastes shifted. The evolving style had a big impact on the furniture design of several European countries.
And although it’s been centuries since this style emerged, it remains as timeless and versatile as ever.
