South German Baroque Dresser, c. 1750
Outstanding 18th-century South German Baroque dresser, dating to circa 1750. This elegant antique dresser features a gracefully curved front with three drawers, resting on a shaped base with serpentine legs, typical of the Baroque period.
The façade and top are adorned with refined strapwork intarsia, showcasing the high level of craftsmanship. Executed in walnut and elm wood, the piece displays a warm, harmonious patina.
The dresser is in very good condition, having been carefully refinished and completed with a traditional shellac hand-polished finish, enhancing the depth and character of the wood while preserving its historical integrity.
