This elegant Biedermeier chiffonier, crafted in South Germany around 1830, embodies the neoclassical style with its clean lines and refined simplicity. Blonde cherry wood veneer over softwood highlights the warm, natural beauty typical of Biedermeier furniture. With nine drawers—three small and six large—this piece offers ample storage. Additionally, seven drawers are secured with original iron locks.
Restorers have meticulously polished the chiffonier by hand using shellac, enhancing its rich, glossy finish. The design includes two ebonized drawers and a key coat of arms at the center, adding subtle contrast and a touch of distinction. This high chest or weekly cabinet combines functional storage with timeless neoclassical design, reflecting the elegance and craftsmanship of early 19th-century German furniture.

Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.
