This elegant Biedermeier demi-lune table dates to circa 1820 and originates from Germany. It has classic Biedermeier proportions and a clever transforming design.
The table stands on tapered legs. You can pull out the rear leg to support the folding tabletop. This simple mechanism allows the piece to open and transform into a round table.
The surface features a warm walnut veneer and a refined star intarsia on the top. Expert craftsmen refinished the table with a traditional hand-polished shellac, which brings out the wood grain and adds a soft natural sheen.

Items are typically delivered within 2 weeks of the purchase date.

On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage caused by the shipper during the shipping process.
