This charming Biedermeier sewing table made from Cherry wood, crafted in Southern Germany circa 1820, exemplifies the refined elegance of the period. The table features a small, round top with a unique three-legged base and an intermediate tableau adorned with a delicate rung railing. Constructed from cherry wood, the table is both solid and veneered, with select ebonized accents that enhance its visual appeal.
The top surface showcases a striking star-shaped veneer pattern, with some veneers replaced for preservation. An ebonized circle inlay further emphasizes the design. The table’s flap opens to reveal an interior with multiple subdivided compartments, ideal for organizing sewing materials or small treasures. Original brass fittings and an iron lockcomplete this well-preserved piece. Restored and meticulously hand-polished with shellac, this Biedermeier sewing table is a beautiful and functional addition to any home.

On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
