By placing the concept of the large footstool designed for Comforty between the traditional and the contemporary, Alessandro Mendini introduced a versatile piece into the collection. The stools and table of the DO RO TA collection feature a rare inlayed wood technique. The cylinder is a perfect geometric shape and these three small pieces from Do-Ro-Ta furniture feature cylinders of different heights and diameters. The first is a very low (DO), large stool suitable for two or three people, the second is a conventional stool for one (TA), and the third is a small coffee table (RO).
