This stunning Jugendstil / Art Nouveau sculpture, titled “Judith”, was created by E. Tell in Austria around 1900–1910. Crafted from gilt bronze (bronze doré), the piece features an intricately detailed, heavy execution weighing approximately 29 kg with its stone base.
The sculpture rests on an octagonal base bearing a plaque that reads “Judith par E. Tell”, with the artist’s signature “E. Tell” engraved on the base. It is mounted on a rectangular stone base, securely connected with a long screw for removable functionality.
