Neoclassical Demi Lune Table, France 19th century
This antique Neoclassical Demi Lune table dates back to the 1880’s. It has a mahogany and king wood veneer with gorgeous marquetry decor in yew. Geometric and flower motives embellish this elegant table on the top, the apron and the legs.
The top can be unfolded. There is a pullout leg on the bag of the table which acts as a support for the unfolded top. The round top of the table is covered with a pretty green felt.
This Demi Lune table can be used as a console table in your entry way or you can add it to your living room. Keep it against a wall as a very decorative side table and use it for your occasional game nights as the perfect center piece.
The table comes refinished and shellac polished.
