This rare early Biedermeier scissor stool from Southern Germany, dating to around 1825, is a beautifully balanced piece of functional design and understated elegance. Crafted from solid walnut with fine walnut veneer, it reflects the simplicity and warmth characteristic of early Biedermeier furniture.
The stool features a distinctive scissor-leg construction, with a turned rosette detail at the central crossbar on both sides—adding a subtle decorative element to its minimalist form. Newly upholstered in a black textured fabric with matching border trim, it offers both comfort and visual contrast.

On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage caused by the shipper during the shipping process.

All sales are final once buyer or buyer’s agent takes possession of an item.
Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.
