A rare and highly decorative antique Swedish Gustavian chest of drawers (commode), dating to the mid–late 19th century. This exceptional piece features a beautifully aged painted finish with intricate hand-painted detailing across the top rail, complemented by subtle gilt accents that enhance its refined neoclassical character.
The chest is composed of four drawers fitted with brass ring pulls, offering practical storage while maintaining its elegant proportions. The façade is further defined by column-form verticals, leading down to a carved plinth base and shaped feet, typical of the Gustavian aesthetic.

On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage caused by the shipper during the shipping process.

Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.
