Set of four Neoclassical Chairs, France 1820’s
Set of four Neoclassical chairs the slightly bent backrests are decorated with hand-carved decor showing a rosette in a diamond shaped field and a lambrequin motif. This design and motif was developed by the French furniture maker Henri Jacob (1753-1824), he became master in 1779. The chairs stand on slender Directoire style legs.
The chairs can be complemented by a matching daybed which is offered separately. Â The chairs are in very good original condition.
