Biedermeier Walnut Chest of Drawers, Germany 1820
This original Biedermeier walnut chest of drawers dates back to 1820 and was made in Southern Germany. The four drawer commode has a gorgeous walnut veneer. The uppermost drawer is slightly protruding and the three lower drawers are flanked by two ebonized wooden columns. The columns are decorated with their original bronze capitals and bases. The Biedermeier dresser comes expertly refinished with a shellac hand polish.
