17th Century Italian Louis XIV Carved Walnut Antique Commode
A rare carved walnut antique commode from the Louis XIV period, 1680. On the front three large and useful drawers. The first drawer has a very rare feature, the front opens to become a writing surface and internally there are eight small drawers with a central arched structure. Characterized by front and sides with relief decorations hand carved in solid walnut wood. High quality cabinetry whose characteristics are to be located in the northern Italy area and precisely in the Piedmont region.
