An elegant Baroque walnut chest of drawers dating to around 1750, featuring three beautifully curved drawers and a solid pine carcass veneered in richly figured walnut.
The top is particularly striking, showcasing a mirrored veneer pattern that uses the natural grain of the wood to create an inlay-like decorative effect—both subtle and highly sophisticated. This attention to material and composition reflects the craftsmanship characteristic of mid-18th century furniture.
The chest retains its original brass handles and escutcheons, adding authenticity and a refined contrast to the warm tones of the walnut. It has been expertly refinished using traditional shellac hand polishing, enhancing the depth, texture, and natural luster of the veneer.

On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage caused by the shipper during the shipping process.
Local Pickup & Local Delivery
All sales are final once buyer or buyer’s agent takes possession of an item.
Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.
Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final.
