About the Artist
Beginning as an accidental artist, Mara Wagner’s most inspired work comes from periods of wandering and play, improvisations from earlier work, or rearrangement toward a new coherent whole. With an array of found and intentional materials, an improvisational process sustains the flow that then allows Mara to engage with color relationships and compositional challenges. Mara enjoys interrupting her thought process by working with still lives of common domestic objects, and photographs of familiar people and places. When turning a photograph upside-down, she can render the relationships between color, shape and value in their purest form. Building on psychoanalytic and spiritual practices, Mara has formed a decades-long relationship with these mindful traditions. What can be realized when we access our most open state of mind? How does the dynamic between creativity and resistance reflect the ways we are inhabiting the world at this moment? With each stitch, juxtaposition, and improvisation, these expressions carry Mara on their own steam, to be studied later with a more purposeful eye.

Express delivery can be organized but is subject to additional fees.
Overseas, Alaska and remote areas please ask for a shipping quote.
Parcel Delivery
Shipment is arranged through recognized carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Only pieces that can be safely packed in a box or envelope may be shipped via parcel.
Shipping charges start at $20 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging and the value of the item.
Items are typically delivered within 2 weeks of the purchase date.

All sales are final on Made–to–Order items.

To request a return, please email support@styylish.com and include the order number and the reason for your return request.
On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage which was caused by the shipper during the shipping process.
Local Pickup & Local Delivery
All sales are final once buyer or buyer’s agent takes possession of an item.
Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.
Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final.
