Georges Frydman Asymmetrical Oak Desk
This Georges Frydman desk showcases the sculptural, functional character of French modernist design from the 1950s–60s. Crafted in varnished oak, the desk features a distinctive free-form top that creates an elegant asymmetrical silhouette.
The design combines visual lightness with practical storage. A two-drawer cabinet sits offset to the left, while the black-lacquered tubular steel base provides a strong architectural contrast to the warm oak surface. The drawers retain their key, adding both convenience and authenticity.
Frydman’s combination of organic woodwork and industrial metal reflects the evolving language of postwar French furniture. As a result, this vintage French oak desk works equally well as a writing desk, home office desk, or statement piece in a contemporary interior.

Items are typically delivered within 2 weeks of the purchase date.
