German Baroque Chest of Drawers, Circa 1750
An elegant German Baroque chest of drawers dating to around 1750, crafted with a pine carcass and richly veneered in walnut with refined strapwork inlays. The façade features three gracefully curved drawers, resting on classic bun feet, giving the piece a balanced yet sculptural presence.
Original brass handles and escutcheons remain intact, adding to its authenticity and historical character. The surface has been expertly refinished using traditional shellac hand polishing, enhancing the depth and warmth of the walnut veneer while preserving the integrity of the piece.
Both decorative and functional, this chest exemplifies the craftsmanship and material sophistication of mid-18th century German furniture, making it a timeless addition to both classic and contemporary interiors.

Items are typically delivered within 2 weeks of the purchase date.

On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for full cost of return packing & shipping.
The items are insured during the shipping process and the shipper’s insurance will cover the cost for any damage caused by the shipper during the shipping process.
Local Pickup & Local Delivery
All sales are final once buyer or buyer’s agent takes possession of an item.
Upon inspection, if you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller.
Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final.
