Striking pair of German midcentury armchairs by Gelenka-Patentmöbelfabrik, featuring sculptural curved beechwood armrests and elegant proportions. Designed in the late 1940s–1950s and attributed to Ernst Breitenborn and/or Erich Dieckmann, these chairs exemplify Gelenka’s refined bentwood craftsmanship.
The seats are constructed with elastic straps and solid beechwood elements, offering comfort and durability. Professionally restored, the chairs retain a beautiful original patina consistent with age and use.
One chair per pair retains the original manufacturer’s signature.
