Set of 10 French Art Deco Dining Chairs, Paris, Circa 1930
This elegant set of 10 French Art Deco dining chairs was crafted in Paris around 1930 and originally formed part of a distinguished dining room suite by Georges & Gaston Guérin. Their clean lines, rich lacquer finish, and refined proportions exemplify the sophisticated elegance of French Art Deco design.
Each chair is crafted from solid beech wood, stained in a deep mahogany or Macassar ebony tone and finished with a high-gloss lacquer. The chairs have been fully reupholstered in cream-white Alcantara with a single welt, offering exceptional comfort thanks to the generously padded seats and gently curved backrests.
The set consists of six original chairs dating from around 1930 and four later reproductions. Following a professional restoration, refinishing, and reupholstery, all ten chairs form a seamless ensemble. The quality of the later chairs matches the originals so closely that they are virtually indistinguishable.
The matching Art Deco sideboard (reference AD-SB-403) and display cabinet (reference AD-SB-404) from the same Guérin dining room are also available, offering the rare opportunity to acquire a complete Parisian Art Deco dining suite.
