Small Art Deco Cabinet, Macassar Veneer, France, circa 1930
A small Art Deco cabinet from France. This piece dates back to 1930. The cabinet would be great as bar furniture or a drink cart. The cabinet features a Macassar ebony veneer with a clear piano lacquer and high-gloss polish. The top of the cabinet showcases a fold-out bar compartment with magnets and chains. The front door’s polished metal fittings contrast beautifully with the dark veneer. Inside the cabinet is a crème white frosted glass plate. Additionally, the interior features mirrors. Lighting is available inside the cabinet with a white cable coming through the backside. The cabinet’s bottom compartment holds two drawers for bottles. The drawers roll out when the doors are open. Overall, a lovely Art Deco bar cabinet.
