1820 Biedermeier Console Table, Southern Germany
This Biedermeier console table is from Germany, circa 1820. The concave base veneered in cherrywood has a mirror in the back. The plate is also cherry solid wood with ebonized parts and ink line running circumferentially around the edges. All the wood is also hand-polished with shellac (French Polish). The Biedermeier console table has two black half columns and two black full columns with gold-painted capitals and bases. Overall a wonderful piece of antique furniture that is ready for your home today.
