Biedermeier Cherry Mirror, South Germany 1820
This Biedermeier cherry mirror dates back to 1820 and comes from southern Germany.
It features a pretty cherry veneer and has two ebonized half columns with gilt wood carved capitals and bases. The top of the mirror has an eboinzed arched section which is decorated with a charming gilt wood carving of two putti with flowers.
This original 19th century mirror is in very good original condition. Furthermore, the mirror glass is original with traces of age. It measures Height: 46.46 in. (118 cm), Width: 20.48 in. (52 cm), Depth: 2.76 in. (7 cm).
