Exceptional pair of “Sella” lounge armchairs designed by Carlo di Carli and crafted in Italy during the 1960s. These sculptural armchairs feature a beautifully constructed solid rosewood frame enhanced by elegant gold-plated brass accents on the legs, showcasing the refined sophistication of Italian mid-century modern design.
A defining characteristic of the iconic “Sella” model is the distinctive leather strap suspension at the back, which supports the backrest while adding a refined architectural detail. The generous seat, curved backrest, and integrated armrests provide exceptional comfort and timeless elegance.
The chairs have been newly reupholstered in a textured beige heathered fabric, complementing the warmth of the rosewood and brass finishes while preserving the authentic spirit of the design.
