A rare and elegant 18th-century French Bureau Plat desk, crafted in France circa 1750 and veneered in richly figured kingwood with its original finely cast bronze ormolu mounts and sabots. Raised on graceful curved legs, this refined writing desk features two drawers and retains its beautiful proportions and sophisticated silhouette.

The desk is fitted with a vintage green leather writing surface, adding warmth and authenticity to the piece. Its unusually compact dimensions make it exceptionally versatile — ideal as a small executive desk, ladies writing desk, or statement piece for a refined home office, study, library, or bedroom interior.
