Pair of Louis XVI Style Consoles from the Napoleon III Period, Circa 1880
Pair of Louis XVI style consoles from the Napoleon III period, half-moon shaped, with their morello cherry marble tops, the base in carved and gilded wood with leaf decoration of scrolls, or waves, in the central part at decorated with large oak leaves and ending in the lower part with a pine cone, the belt decorated with repetitive friezes with in the central part a connecting die decorated with a rosette. French work from the Napoleon III period, realized circa 1880.
