Iconic Midcentury Armchair, 366, Re-Issued in Poland 2014
Designed 1962, the iconic midcentury armchair 366, an Icon of Polish Design by Józef Chierowski (1962), was re-issued under an exclusive license in 2014.
Thanks to the new technology, the screws connecting the seat could be hidden– just like the designer envisioned it 50 years ago. The 366 Armchair is one of the most popular designs of its era. Nowadays, its new incarnation is a star at world exhibitions, such as the “The Pan-European Living Room” exhibition held by the famous OMA architectural office at the Design Museum in London in 2016. It also wins awards such as the Must Have at the Łódź Design Festival. 366 Armchair is also one of the stars of the movie Le Redoutable about the famous French film director, Jean-Luc Godard, who had it in his apartment in the 1960s. Small dimensions and form make it universal and timeless. Perfect also for small apartments. The 366 series includes Sofas, a Rocking Chair and Coffee Tables, designed in a contemporary way and respecting the original.
Take a seat and bring a piece of history into your living room.
